Privacy Policy

1. Overview

Loggd is a personal event logging app developed by Manuel Weingartner, Lucerne, Switzerland. Your privacy is important to us. This policy explains what data Loggd collects, how it is stored, and your rights.

2. Data We Collect

All data is stored locally on your device. Loggd does not have its own servers and does not transmit your data to us. The App may store:

• Categories: Names, emojis, colors, groups, and settings you create.
• Entries: Timestamps, optional notes, intensity/metric values.
• Medications: Names, dosages, and time slots you configure.
• Photos: Images you optionally attach to entries, stored in the app's private directory.
• Location: GPS coordinates optionally captured when logging an entry (only if you enable this feature).
• Reminders: Notification schedules you configure.

3. Location Data

Location tracking is disabled by default. If you enable it, GPS coordinates are captured at the moment you log an entry and stored locally. Location data is never transmitted to external servers. You can disable location tracking at any time in Settings or per category.

4. Third-Party Services

The App uses the following third-party services:

• Formspree (formspree.io): Used to process feedback you submit via the in-app feedback form. Your feedback text is sent to Formspree's servers. No personal data beyond your message is transmitted. See Formspree's Privacy Policy.
• Sentry (sentry.io): Used for crash reporting to improve app stability. When the App crashes, technical information (device type, OS version, stack trace) is sent to Sentry. No personal data, entries, or category content is included. See Sentry's Privacy Policy.
• RevenueCat (revenuecat.com): Used to manage subscriptions and in-app purchases. RevenueCat processes your anonymous purchase data from the App Store or Google Play. We do not receive your payment details. See RevenueCat's Privacy Policy.

The App does not use analytics, tracking, or advertising.

5. Cloud Backups

Your device's operating system may back up app data to iCloud (iOS) or Google Drive (Android) as part of its standard backup process. Loggd does not control these backups. Uninstalling the App deletes local data but backups may persist in iCloud or Google Drive until you manually remove them.

On Android, automatic backup to Google servers has been disabled in the App's configuration.

6. Data Export & Portability

You can export all your data as a CSV file via Settings → Export. The export includes timestamps, categories, notes, intensity values, medications, and GPS coordinates.

7. Data Deletion

You can delete all data at any time via Settings → Delete All Data. This permanently removes all categories, entries, medications, reminders, and photos from your device. This action cannot be undone.

8. Your Rights (GDPR / DSG)

Under the EU General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) and the Swiss Federal Act on Data Protection (DSG), you have the right to:

• Access your data (via CSV Export)
• Correct your data (by editing entries and categories)
• Delete your data (via Delete All Data)
• Data portability (via CSV Export)

Since all data is stored locally on your device and we have no access to it, you can exercise these rights directly within the App.

9. Children's Privacy

Loggd is not directed at children under 16. We do not knowingly collect data from children.

10. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. The updated version will be posted at this URL with a new effective date.
